You know when your confidence goes down? When you fail… And fail… And fail… And fail again.

You start to think, “Maybe I’m not good enough. I’m just a dumb and lazy nerd who has social anxiety. Maybe I’m not meant to do great things in life. I’ll just follow the herd and do what the society says.”

Stop!

Believe me my friend, you have everything that you ever wanted to be like within you, and even more. Everyone does. But our beliefs about us and how things work hold us back from doing everything we want in life.

That’s right… Our beliefs shape our confidence. So if we can somehow manage to make ourselves believe that we are confident, we’re gonna be!

But many people have a hard time changing their belief system. Their brains keep telling them, “That’s Bullshit! You’re a loser and will be. Don’t try it. You’ll fail. You’ve been doing so for quite some time now.”

So let’s focus on doing things that will compel your brain to believe that we can get things done that we never even imagined we could.

How To Build Your Confidence?

The only way to build confidence is to set goals and achieve them.

Do things that you know you should be doing, but don’t do. When you start achieving things that you intend to achieve, your brain will be forced to adopt the new beliefs of you, being a confident badass, ’cause the brain has evidence that you are. No more can it deny the fact.

So let’s start getting stuff done!

Note: You don’t have to start everything mentioned below, all at once. Maybe start with two or three of them. Gradually, start following the rest.

12 Things You Should Start Doing Immediately To Gain Confidence:

  1. Wear Clean Clothes Even When At Home

Start wearing clean, washed clothes, every day. This helps in gaining confidence because you feel great about yourself and won’t avoid going out for a walk in those clothes, anytime.

2. Develop Healthy Sleeping Habits And Exercise

You look gorgeous naturally. So don’t let those dark circles ruin it for you.

Besides, you don’t feel lousy throughout the day, while working if you have a wonderful sleep schedule. Start your day with an energetic you by exercising for 10–15 minutes every day after waking up.

3. Eat Healthy Food

Your skin shows whatever you take in. So aim at including fruits in your diet. Avoid spicy, oily, and sugary (basically unhealthy) food.

4. Quit All Your Addictions

You know you feel like a loser because you keep on giving in to your addictions. No buts… Just quit them. Can’t you hear your future self thanking you for this?

Find alternative ways of having that dopamine release in your brain, which compels you to give in to your addictions over and over.

5. Improve By 1% Everyday

Improving every day, even by 1% will make you a confident beast! You’ll feel like a Hero. And your brain will start accepting you as its Emperor.

6. Do Your Chores (Cleaning Your Room, Making Your Bed, etc.)

Doing your chores count, because here’s when you actually start achieving your goals. Tiny achievements are enough to convince you that you’re more than you think you are.

7. Take Care Of Your Looks And Hygiene

Taking care of your looks simply means looking your best without any surgery or makeup. Get yourself a haircut. Trim your beard. Take care of your skin and hair using natural products. Stay away from chemicals. Drink lots of water every day.

And make sure to trim your nails, every week. Brush twice a day. Make sure to clean your belly button, your ears and behind them while taking a shower.

8. Be Kind And Gentle

Everyone wants to be around a charismatic human being. They attract people with their confidence (which we’re working on, now), their humor, their observation, and their tone and gestures while they speak.

9. Train Your Subconscious To Think That You’re Confident

Before going to bed and after waking up, visualize. Practice this daily. Start seeing yourself doing “confident activities”, like talking to a stranger on Omegle, walking up to that pretty girl at the party and asking her to dance with you, giving a speech in front of hundreds of audience, etc.

The key is to feel everything that you visualize with all your 5 senses.

10. Aim To Make The Best Use Of Your Time (Even When You Aren’t Working)

Try to avoid watching Animes or Web series while working on changing your habits, because you might lose the momentum.

11. Make Sure To Meet Your DIG Everyday

DIG — Daily Income Goals. I heard Millionaire Dan Lok talk about it in one of his videos. Decide the amount you wanna make by the end of the year. Now calculate the amount that you need to make each month to reach that goal. Finally, list your Daily Income Goals i.e. your daily goals that will earn you the monthly amount by the end of the month.

12. Take One Step At A Time

Just one step. Wait until you’re comfortable. Then take the next step.
