I’ve always been in search of apps that’d help me stay focused on my projects. After two years of exploring productivity apps, here are my favorite 3.

Olauncher

First things first, you’ve got to install a minimalistic launcher. Default launchers in general, are designed for people to spend more time on their phones. And you know what’s most distracting? Those cute little colorful icons. When it comes to productivity, you don’t want to get distracted by those fancy icons.

Install this wonderful launcher. It hides the app icons and only shows you their names. It makes your phone look much less sophisticated. You can add icon names on your home screen: 4 names by default, but you can add a few more.

It has this minimalistic look that you’ll love. Try it out.

Boosted

This is my favorite productivity app. You add project names according to your work schedule for the day. And before working on a task, open this app and tap on the project name of the task that you’re about to work on. Turn on the timer and start working. You’ll naturally feel more focused when you’ve got a tracker tracking the time.

In fact, right now, while I’m working on this blog, Boosted is keeping track of the time under the project name “Write today’s blog”. It’s amazing!

And when you’re done with your work, just tap on Stop Project.

Pocket

If you’ve ever come across an article or a website that you’re interested to go through, you can just save the article or the blog on Pocket. So later you can read your article from Pocket.

Now whenever you come across an interesting blog, select the share option in your browser and tap on “Pocket”. That’ll automatically save the blog on Pocket.

That’s all for now.

Have a great day ahead.
